In the first iteration of this series, the petal-like figure created by cutting the rim free-hand resembled the chakra symbol. The design has evolved but the name remains. The design is feminine and has a strong presence. A stack of various sized chakra dishes looks like a peony.

Reminiscent of the night sky, this color is profound and calming, and compliments any food palette.
